In addition to celebrating the presence of God in our lives, this is one of the very few times that denominational doctrine is present at UCM. In order to provide an opportunity for students to experience how different denominations worship. When possible we invite ministers from our supporting denominations and occasionally different faiths to conduct the service.
Sometimes we study scripture directly from the Bible such as our study of The Revelation of John. More often we look at scripture through the study of books such as Velvet Elvis by Rob Bell or Jesus, The bible and Homosexuality: Explode the Myths, Heal the Church by Jack Rogers.
We offer a variety of programs and outreach opportunities for interested students. Some are purely social in nature and others span many religious topics. Our goal is to build community through social activities and to study the Word of God through interactive Bible studies and theological discussions.

We also have time to share our experiences with God through worship services and discussions. Our preferred accommodations are to camp out at a local state park.
Movie Madness is one of those purely social events designed for entertainment and interaction. Happening once a month (usually on the third Saturday) with varying starting times we generally show two -
